HOPE to find: Building 429

Sunday Scriptures

"All your words are true;
all your righteous laws are eternal."

We can believe in the Word of God,
And Trust in His precepts.

We should understand that we are never alone.
God is always with us.

He sent His son to teach us.
He sent His Holy Spirit to dwell in us.
He gave us His Word to guide us along our way.

If we keep our focus on the teachings of God,
His laws and His Word;
and not on the ways of the world,
We will know our path
And find our way.

We will know God's peace
and His companionship
as we walk through each day.

So, despite hardships,
and fears and trials,
We must press on.

Knowing that God walks alongside us,
no matter what we must face.

"Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.
Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead,
I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus."

~Today I am sharing two scriptures that capture the feeling I wish to convey ~

Believe in this truth:

We can be confident knowing that wherever this life takes us, God is always with us.

He is our strength, and we will not be shaken.

"He alone is my rock and my salvation,
my fortress where I will never be shaken."

"King David said this about him:

‘I see that the Lord is always with me.
I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me.' "

Sometimes a song gets stuck in my head -- does that ever happen to you? That's what happened to me with this song from Building 429.

On my way home last night, I prayed for God to help me find a song and scripture to share with you for this Sunday's post. This song came on the radio, and I can't get it out of my head.
